 This marks the return of Wu, who also directed the critically acclaimed 2004 romantic drama Saving Face. Written by Wu, the story follows an introverted Ellie Chu (Leah Lewis) who live a content life watching movies with his father and runs their business-writing essays themselves that serves high school friends of his - which is not exactly treat him in the best way.
 Things take a turn when the athlete Paul Munsky (Daniel Diemer) hires him to record the craft in love with popular girl Aster Flores (Alexxis Lemire) - who also happens to be itself a secret crush.
