 Without the knowledge of his former teammates, Spencer (Alex Wolff) kept part of the video game Jumanji. In the basement of his grandfather, he is working on improving the system. When his friends Martha (Morgan Turner), Fridge (Ser'Darius Blain) and Bethany (Madison Iseman) arrived, it was already too late: the running game again and Spencer have disappeared.

 Together, the friends decide to re-enter a dangerous world of Jumanji to rescue their missing friends. Spencer's grandfather Eddie (Danny DeVito) and his friend Milo (Danny Glover) who accidentally sucked into the game as well.

 Now Eddie is in Dr. Smolder Bravestone (Dwayne Johnson) and Milo, Franklin "Mouse" Finbar (Kevin Hart). Martha got Ruby Roundhouse (Karen Gillan) again, but this time landed on Professor Sheldon Refrigerator Oberon (Jack Black). Now the children must show the parents how the world of Jumanji and avatar outstanding work.
At the same time, they also find that much has changed here, because of the hot deserts and snowy mountain waiting for them beside a jungle setting.
